By visiting or using the Voluntier app, website or any of its services, features or content you agree to the practice and policies set forth in this Privacy Policy and hereby acknowledge and consent to our collection, use and sharing of your information. Voluntier may contain links or access to external sites, apps or links that will be clearly identifiable and we are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these other sites nor do we claim that they are safe by providing a link to them.
Voluntier is not suitable for users under the age of 16. We do not solicit or knowingly collect personal information from users under 16 as such do not attempt to register for any of our services or applications if you are under 16. Users found to be under the age of 16 will be removed from the platform and their information deleted.
What Information Does Voluntier Collect from Users?
We gather various forms of personal information including but not limited to: your full name, mobile phone number, email address, password & address, resumes, emergency contacts, referees and other information.

We use cookies to distinguish you between other users of Voluntier and obtain certain information about your behaviour and usage. Cookies are identifiers we place on your computer when you use our App or Website to help us provide a better experience or to improve our services. Third parties may also use cookies for which we have no control. Visiting any external site via links provided through us may result in the external site using cookies as well.
How does Voluntier use my Personal Data?
Voluntier may use your personal data in the following ways:
- Analyse the usage of our Services
- Improve upon our services
- Identify and amend errors and problems in our offerings

- Provide our full offering of services such as the Voluntier App & Website
- Resolve and investigate disputes between users

Is my Personal information secure?
As Voluntier may change operations over time including but not limited to by expanding, reducing, changing ownership data may be transferred to third parties or stored and used by such parties.
Your personal data is stored for as long as is reasonably necessary and is stored and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. After your engagement with Voluntier is over your profile along with all its contents are destroyed unless otherwise nominated by you.
Your account is protected by a password for your security. You will need to protect your password to prevent unauthorised access to your account. Voluntier endeavours to safeguard our users privacy information but cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorised use or entry, technology failures both hardware or software including other factors may compromise user information at any time.
What are my rights?
You can ask us not to process your data for marketing purposes by exercising the right to opt out of any marketing emails we send. You can change the personal information held about you (within reason) and to contact us to request a copy of your personal information that we hold about you.
You can always choose to delete your account if you wish. Each option can be exercised by following the appropriate process within the App Settings & Profile or alternatively contacting us directly on hello@voluntier.team. Users should note that certain action such as deleting an account are irreversible and may result in a permanent loss of access to your account.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may amend our Privacy Policy. Information we collect now is still subject to the Privacy Policy that is in effect at the time said information is used. Changes to the way your personal information is used will be announced on the website or via direct contact to Users. The User will be bound by any changes to the privacy policy when they are made if the user continues use of any of our services.
